In-house metal painting services delivering durable, high-quality finishes for machined and fabricated parts.

Total Manufacturing's Painting and Coating Department combines surface preparation with traditional spray painting to produce a durable finish that meets functional, aesthetic, and environmental requirements. Customers who source Total Manufacturing for CNC machining or heavy fabrication are often surprised to learn that complete surface painting can be handled under the same roof, avoiding the added paint costs and lead time of sending parts to an outside painting company. Two in-house paint booths support different part sizes, including a paint booth and an inflatable paint booth for bigger fabrications, so the paint process can be matched to the types of surfaces and geometries each painting project requires. Surface preparation includes rust removal and cleaning of scale and other contaminants before application, producing a smooth, rust-inhibiting finish that's visually appealing and factory-like on metal surfaces of nearly any size.

↗FAQs
Have questions? Here are answers to some of the questions we hear most often.
Handling painting in-house avoids the added paint costs, lead time, and handling risk of sending parts to a separate painting company. Customers who come to Total Manufacturing for CNC machining or fabrication often find that painting can be completed under the same roof, with surface preparation, application, and final part delivery handled by one manufacturing partner.
Include the part drawing, material, required paint or finish specification, and any color or masking requirements, noting the types of surfaces involved if the part has multiple materials or textures. If painting follows fabrication or machining at Total Manufacturing, note that as well so the full sequence can be quoted together.
Total Manufacturing's paint booth measures 12' x 20', with an 18' x 30' inflatable paint booth available for bigger fabrications and assemblies. Include the overall dimensions and any masking requirements during quoting so the right booth and paint costs can be confirmed.
Yes. Spray painting can follow welding, custom fabrication, CNC machining, or other manufacturing processes required before the part is finished. This keeps painting under the same manufacturing partner as the rest of the project.
Yes. Total Manufacturing operates two in-house paint booths, a paint booth and an inflatable paint booth for bigger fabrications, so complete surface painting can be handled without sending parts to an outside painting company. Painting can be coordinated after fabrication, welding, or CNC machining.
