TDC Systems performs all specialty coating work, including manganese phosphate coating per MIL-DTL-16232, dry film lubricant application (also called dry film lubricant coating), nitric and citric passivation, and abrasive blasting and metal finishing services. This gives customers access to a wide range of coating services without managing a separate vendor relationship. TDC's passivation process uses acid to remove free iron from stainless steel surfaces, restoring the material's natural corrosion resistance for parts exposed to corrosive environments. Manganese phosphate coating, applied using a phosphoric acid solution, creates a porous crystalline layer on steel surfaces that holds oil and lubricant, improving wear resistance and helping prevent galling between moving or contacting parts.
